A Safe Place To Grow Your Public Speaking Confidence
Membership is just £30 a year and you pay £3.00 for each evening you attend. How often you attend is entirely up to you. We appreciate everyone is busy and have lives to get on with.
Once you’re a member you’ll receive a manual which is packed with useful advice and information and also provides details of the 10 different Association of Speakers Clubs levels (and advanced level for the more experienced).
Getting started
We recommend you come and visit a meeting before you join. But once you’ve joined, to get started, you just read the Level 1 guidelines and prepare your speech. Then let us know when you’re ready and we’ll fit you in to the programme.
If you’re not ready to do your first speech yet, that’s fine. There are other opportunities you can take advantage of such as a 15 second warm up or impromptu speaking which all help to improve your public speaking. Or you can just listen, learn and get to know us until you’re ready.
